Camp Rince Nua Camp Parent


* Due to High Demand - Priority will be given to applicants who already have registered & paid deposit for a camper*


Purpose: To further the mission of the camp by investing your time and energy into the mental and social health of our campers. Help to plan and organize activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate for the camper’s age and abilities.

Camp Parents will have their own bunk house as their base. Parents will be schedule on a rotation to sleep in the bunk houses with campers.


Your role is to provide guidance to help them with everyday tasks including:

  • Ensuing Campers get to meals and activities on time
  • Showering and personal hygiene
  • Keeping organized
  • Keeping bunk house clean
  • Making new friends
  • Conflict resolution
  • Encouraging inclusiveness

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Planning and leading daily activities including set up and clean up
  • Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, planning and leading those as assigned

A Camp Parents Should Expect:

  • A rewarding experience
  • Exhaustion from FUN!
  • To be a parent to kids not just your own
  • To sleep in a bunk bed
  • Memories and friendships that will last a lifetime

A Camp Parents Should  NOT Expect:

  • To have time for personal obligations
  • To spend every waking minute with your own child
  • To interfere with your child’s camp experience
